Prior to the tornado fixing up and the improvement, the town has put in new street lights on main streetin 1955. Before putting in the new lights, the town removed the trees on the main street on the north side in front of the business places. Later, in the 1960's the rest of the town received new lights.

One of the first wells and water lines were put in as far as knowing was in 1912. In 1953 a new well was dug then again in 1957 and 1962. Plans are being made to dig another well in 1976 and then will have two wells to help supply the town.

For the first time in 1951 they oiled the streets and in 1974 a sewer line and lagoon was put in.
