in California. She took her first airplane trip as a part of her birthday celebration. She is also Magnet's Bi-Centennial Golden Queen. Eva Henrickson and her late husband Arthur (Jug) were married in Nov. 22, 1919. Eva and Jug are both natives of Magnet. In Jugs earlier years he helped his Dad with the drag line in Magnet. Jug worked as second man assistant manager from 1923 until 1925 then was made manager for Smith & Havelson Lumber Co. Around 1937 Jug bought out the company and later added a truck to haul livestock for farmers to the city. Also a straight a truk to haul coal and lumber. In the 1960's their two sons, Jerald and Bob, took over the lumber yard business and Jug took care of the books. Then in July 14, 1973 the Henrickson Lumber Company was sold to Johnston Lumber Co. Jug passed away May 12, 1967. Eva was two years old when she moved near Magnet. She attended school here up to tho tenth grade. Ten grades is all they had at that time. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Koppelman were married June 17, 1929, and lived their married life around the Bloomfield, Nebr. and farmed. Harry was born at McLean and Ethel at 0smond. They have four children. They moved to Magnet in Oct. 18, 1969. Also in 1969 Harry started working for Backus Sand & Cement Co. of McLean. Harry retired in July 1975. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Nabor were farmers and semi- retired at Crofton. In March 30, 1946, moved to Magnet on a small acreage with their daughter Mae, where she finished her high school schooling. They also had a son George, that died at six years old. Herman was the school janitor for five years and helped on different farms during the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Nabor celebrated their Golden Anniversary in 1971. On March 30, 1976, they have been married 55 years. Mrs. Nabor went to the Rest Home in Randolph February, 1974 and Herman joined her in June, 1974. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ridenour came to Magnet in June, 1975. Becky is an Art teacher at he high school in Creighton, Nebr. Robert is a Graduate Assistant in the Education Department at Wayne State College. Their plan for the next school year is
