Mr. and Mrs. Dale Albrecht farmed northeast of Magnet till 1956. They had a sale and moved to Wausa and bought and operated a mobile grinder mixer. In 1959, they bought an acreage in Magnet from Mr. and Mrs. John Beaudette. Raised livestock and continued grinding until 1960 and sold the grinder to Bill Kirby. Dale worked for Kenny Dawson in the station at Osmond for a year. Then managed and sold Nutrina Feed at the Claussen Elevator in Magnet. Then bought another mobile grinder-mixer and operated out of Dennis Elevator. In 1965, sold it to Jess Dennis. He then went to work as a parts man for Ford (M & M. Motor Co.) in Wausa. Also started farming for his Dad and Marvin Chrisman by Magnet. And also did custom baling and part time bartender and Cop in Wausa all in 1967 til 1972. In 1976, Dale has full time work with Farmers Union, plus tends bar three times a week in Wausa and does custom baling. Raises some livestock on their acreage. Dale and Mary Ann have raised eleven children.

Mr. and Mrs. Warren Greeno were married Aug. 3, 1974, and moved to Magnet. They bought a trailer house to live in. Warren, working for Dawson Transport, was out in the truck making a delivery to Valentine and was going back to North Platte to get another load and Beth was working at the Osmond Hospital when the tornado struck their trailer home and wrapped it around a tree and light pole. They now make their home one mile south of Magnet in a farm home owned by Dwight Bloomquist. Warren has spent his life mostly around Magnet and Beth around Wausa.

Ella Halleen (Ma) and her late husband Albert (Pa) spent their life farming in the Wausa-Hartington areas before coming to Magnet and retiring in 1945. Pa died May 16, 1967. Ella was born on Febr. 7, 1883 at Crowell, Nebr. At the age of 12 she and her parents came to Wausa-Crofton area. Ella and Albert were married in Hartington on March 21, 1901. They had six children. Ella celebrated her 93rd birthday at a gathering of family and friends in the home of a granddaughter
