Siddhartha- Herman Hesse  Malayalam Translation: R. Raman Nair

Siddhartha the most famous novel of Herman Hesse, written in prose of almost biblical simplicity tells the story of an individual's quest ultimate truth. The search takes him through asceticism, sensual love, wealth and fame to ultimate reality. The book contains an introduction by the author. The book is in its fourth impression.
One of the best translations in any of the Indian and Asian languages.  The translator has succeeded in achieving the simplicity, the beauty and rhythm of Hesse's prose in Malyalam also.
