P2000 Insulation Systems
The Insulation System of the 21st Century...
What is P2000?
It's a high performance, easy to install and live- with insulation.  Yet at the same time, it's not only an insulation, but an entire system: insulation, vapor barrier and house wrap.
Read on to find out more.
A closer look at P2000...
The core of P2000 is made of Expanded Polystyrene (EPS), which is then sandwiched between two facings; either two anozided plastic facings (RPR), or one anodized plastic facing and the other a tough, white woven polyethylene (WPR).
The anodized plastic facings reflect radiant energy, and transfer much less conductive heat then metal foil facings.
The white woven polyethylene is tough, with a 170 lb. bursting point strength.  This means that it can withstand punishments that other facings can't.  It can also be used as a finished surface, such as in garages, shops, pole buildings, etc.
P2000 is also very flexible.  It can bend without breaking, something other foam boards can't.
P2000 is available in various thinknesses, from 3/8" up to 2", depending on your needs.  It comes in sheets and rolls, with sheet sizes from 8 ft  and up.  P2000 also uses an innovative taping system to secure the seams between boards and or rolls.  Overlap taping is included on the long sides of boards, while the short sides are taken care of by seperate rolled tape.  This is also used for corners and other junction points.  Plastic washers used with screws are used to secure to your framework.
P2000 works so well because it address the three forms of heat transfer.  Conduction is nearly completely stopped, convection is stopped, and radiant heat is reflected and or blocked by the facings.  Something no other insulation attempts, or achieves.
Over a million dollars has been spent on testing to prove P2000's performance claims.  Want to see for yourself?  Stop in and we can show you in person.
P2000 has a variety of applications.  It can be used in agricultural, commercial and residential applications, and it works great under concrete!  New construction or remodel, P2000 is a smart choice.
