Dual Chamber Waterbeds provide more comfort then any other artificial bedding because: the surface moves with the cow, preventing the formation of abrasions; the the surface remains free of moisture and bacterial growth as the mattress will always return to it's original convex shape, allowing fluids to flow off. Water will not crush and pack over time like crushed rubber and foam matting, instead it will always return to it's original shape. Also, manure will not build up as the constant flexing of the material will break up any large formations that may be deposited.
It's wave pattern, cut into the belting material, allows the hoof to grip into the material, providing traction no matter which direction the animal is going. Also, it is reinforced with either fiber or metal cabling, so this means it will not stretch. This also means a skid steer or scraper system can be used for cleaning. When secured properly with steel anchors, the belts will not separate at the seams. Also, it will not expand or contract from heat and weather, so it will stay in place year round.
