It was previously thought that this guy might be a hero but now we can put those thoughts to rest, the Lizard Man (yes, this is the correct name believe it or not) is in fact an enemy. It seems so far that the Lizard Men are minions of the Lizard King. 

The Lizard King (Correct Translation) is obviously the king of the Lizard Men. In a recent magazine it has been made clear that the Lizard King will be faced as a Boss. 

The is little know about the Goblins (Correct Translation) except that they will be encountered many time as we have seen him in many screens and video.

The first enemy ever seen in action was this tiger-like enemy. In recent screens it seems that they act as guards for the Lizard King. I still haven't gotten a name as of yet.

Due to crappy scanning I can't get a name for this enemy either so temporarily he will be named the plant-bird, because he looks like a plant crossed with a bird. The plant-bird's role in the game is unknown but it is likely he is just a pointless monster like most enemies in final fantasy. 

This guy has only appeared in concept and is an enemy design although its probably more likely he is a boss due to his gigantic size. You can see his full size in the concept on the media page. He is like a giant rock robot thing, wierd.

Obviously a giant crab, so far that is all we know about this oversized crustacean.
