WELCOME TO OUR SITE!!!
WHAT IS CROSSROADS OF THE SOUTH??
We are a show chorus singing polished 4-part harmony, and we perform at both formal and informal events around the Metro area and Mississippi.
We do informal mini-concerts both indoors and out of doors. One example is Memorial Day which tends to find us dropping in on the guys at the VA hospital.

We got some fresh air at Clinton's Nature Day. The Dulcimer group visiting loved our dulcet tones.
In 2003 we participated in the Women in the Arts
conference. We entertained accomplished musicians and composers at a
luncheon, and got 'Brava!'s on our tuning and sound from Lester
Senter Wilson. Okay, there was that one grumpy longhair who didn't
get our music, but that's okay.
We perform at gala benefits, fairs, parties, you name it. We love Christmas and Valentine's Day and those are more great reasons to sing out. Lately we have a new twist, a cabaret dinner show.
We
do another kind of performance that's important to us. We compete
regionally with other Sweet Adeline choruses in Alabama, Tennessee,
and western Florida. This shot is of a rehearsal before
competition in 2002. Each year we move up in the rankings and next
year we hope to win medals in our division. Or as the ladies like to
say “we plan to come home with some jewelry!”
When
we compete there's lots more makeup involved. Here are two of our
prettiest members, Yuvonna and Krystel, waiting for the elevator to
take them to the 2003 competition event in Chattanooga this spring.
A little girl who saw us in the spring Festival of Harmony at Thalia
Mara Hall said her favorite was the performance by “the pink
ladies”.

With 800 women in Chattanooga all decked out in sequins, our Jackson Tour & Travel driver, Linda, was inspired to join in too. Look closely and you will see the tie is black sequins and the gold on her epaulets is sequins, too!
