MEET THE GROUP!!

The lady in red is our director, Marsha Fortune. She is smiling because the other lady, Sherry Lewis, is a renowned and much-awarded Master Director who came down from Nashville to help us polish up our performance for competition. But that's how Sweet Adelines are, they help one another a lot.

This is our management team. First on the left is our PR person and performance booker, Dot. Next is Gloria, who coordinates travel and regional events. Terre (the blonde) is team leader. Dixie stands back and center, controlling Finance. Margaret is secretary and “sunshine” chair. Pat is membership coordinator and webmistress. Marsha is director.

Each year we honor one of our own as our Sweet Adeline of the Year. The honoree this year is Margaret, whose can-do attitude (and with a smile!) is so inspiring.

Sometimes there is a little waiting involved before a big performance on stage. Margaret has put on her makeup and is taking a break before the costuming begins. She is keeping her shoulder pads where she will be sure not to lose them.
