On the Road to Hell
Where their worm dieth not and the fire is not quenched.
Every One Wants to Go to Heaven
But No One Wants to Die

The creation of CAT.
Strange isn't it? I believe there are only two who have managed to accomplish this. First there was Enoch who walked with God and God took him away. I just assume God took him to heaven. Then there was Elijah taken to heaven in a whirlwind. If there was some other, I offer my apologies to the religious scholars.
If there truly is a heaven death would be the ambrosia every one is seeking and never finding in life. Of course I'm not speaking of suicides. For Christians that is the mortal sin, unforgiveable which buys them a ticket straight to hell where their worm dieth not and the fire is not quenched.
But some religions even accept suicide as a means of reaching heaven, if it is done properly. like taking a jumbo jet, crashing it into the world trade center and taking out all those evil, sinful, money hungry devils and sending them straight to hell. That is a one way ticket straight to heave. And many opt for that out.
I wonder if their belief is really that strong. Or is their life just so miserable here on earth that they don't really care. Like the little kid after a spanking who cries, "Sniff, I'll show them. I'll just run away. When I get eaten by Old Mr. Larson's Rott Wieldier they'll be sorry."
But Christians avoid suicide like the plague. Now I'm not saying Christians don't commit suicide. They just can't use it as a means of reaching heaven. They not only avoid suicide they cling to life, even fighting death through torturous mortal pain, fighting for their next breath, dying to live just one more breath.
Have you ever watched a dying person gasping, fighting for that last breath? Knowing that their pain is so intense it is unbearable. Yet they wont let go. They keep fighting for just one more moment. As if that one moment is more important than any other single moment throughout their entire life. Their whole body seems to tremble, gasping, fighting for that final breath that will never come. Then suddenly all is still. And they have finally reached that ambrosia they have fought so hard to avoid.
Death itself is the heaven they have sought all their life. If they have believed it would be the beginning of a glorious eternal life, it really won't matter now. For they will never know if they were wrong. And that it is truly the end. The glorious end to suffering and misery for true eternity. Hopefully they have acomplished the one purpose of all life, which is to asure the continuance of life. And this asurance isn't only accomplished through reproduction, but often even through death.
I love your Holy Bible. I have always been fascinated by fantacy, magic and miracles. But I have never believed in them since I was a kid. I have often pondered and am now just beginning to realize why you have a hell.
Without a hell the evil could never be punished. Even when you send them to the electric chair they wouldn't be punished. Their brief moment of pain before death would hardly be punishment enough for the evil they committed by sending your loved one to heaven.
The purpose of the electric chair I just relised is not for killing, but for sending the evil one to hell. you really have no desire to punish them yourself. Vengeance is mine says the Lord. You have even sought to find a more humane way to send them to hell, without causing any pain whatsoever.
You choose to suffer unendurable pain yourself, while trying with all your being to take just one more breath of life before being taken to that glorious heavenly abode you have been praying for all your life. But still you wish to avoid causing pain to the wicked.
Ah! But what if we are sending the wicked to heaven? Maybe we should rethink our policy regarding the death penalty. I don't believe death is a punishment. I don't trust God to carry out my vengeance.
I myself have no fear of death. I know I am going straight to heaven. But pain? Now pain I can do without. Even an old atheist like myself has fear of pain. And given enough pain will even emplore your God's help for relief. Any port in a      storm.
After all what is death? Were we dead before we were born? We certainly didn't exist, And I don't believe we will exist after we are dead. Dust to dust, From dust we came and to the dust we shall return. Of course there are those of you who believe we have an eternal sole. Was this sole then alive before we were born, just waiting to jump in when we took our first breath and become a part of us? If so where did it reside? And if not, from where did it come? I ask questions and ponder the answers where there are no answere. I emplore you "Keep The Faith" what is the harm. Until I was six years old I believed in Santa Clause and faked it for my parent's sake until I was nine or ten, it did no harm.
