I was born on 12/26/69 at Mercy Hospital in San Diego, CA. I was adopted at 2
months old. I recently received non identifying information about my birth
relatives. I learned I have 2 step brothers and 1 step sister. My birth
mother is of Philipino and Mexican descent. My father is caucasion. My birth
mother gave no information about my birth father for she knew him briefly. I
got the impression from the information I received that I was put up for
adoption due to strict family morals. My birth relatives were told that I did
not survive. My adopted father passed away when I was 13 yrs old and my
adopted mother is all I have left. She is becoming ill with Arthritis daily.
I would like to find my birth mother to know and see what my family
background is. I'm not sure if I should continue the search due to certain
circumstances but my heart wants to keep searching. I have 3 children and I
would like them to know there family background.

My name is Candace. I was born "Linda" on 9-24-66 in Hammond, Indiana, so I
am told. The lawyer who handled my private adoption was Henry S. Kowalczyk,
cause #
C67-250, at the Crown Point courthouse in Crown Point, IN. I understand that
I have 4 older sisters, although this cannot be confirmed. It is possible
that my siblings, if any, do not even know I exist. I have been told several
conflicting stories regarding my adoption; therefore, I am at a loss as to
what is true and what is not. It is also my understanding that my birth
parents were a bit up in years when I was born, so they may no longer be
alive.
Being adopted was never a huge issue with me until I had a daughter of my
own, 14 years ago. Since then this mystery has come to haunt me somewhat.
I must say that whoever my birth-mother is, I give her the utmost respect for
being strong enough to let me go after carrying me for nine months. I
realize that this must have been a very difficult decision on her part;
however, it has left me wondering.....

At ST. Vincent's Hosp.Feb.22 1962, His doctor was Doctor Elizabeth Schrimer, (deceased now) He was 3 Days old when We got him in Portland,

Miltary Records Impossible!
My birthfather was stationed at Kincheloe airforce base, in 1954... they have since closed.... but military information is impossible to get anyway... & if you are not the legal relatives of the military person...forget it........ My birthfathers name is Hugh Morrison...that is the only information I have, his name & where he was stationed..... another needle in a haystack...........

I am 31 year old male who would love to find my mother. I know she loved me
at birth, because she wrote out a note, to the adoptive parents, of the
things she wanted for me and she even gave me a name. She was 17 years old
when I was born, at the University of Kentucky, in Lexington, Kentucky. My
date of birth is September 7, 1969 at 9:36 p.m.. I know she was in beauty
pageants, and she was into sports. But I can't find out her name.
All I want, is to know her name and some history of the family. I want her
to know she has 3 beautiful grand children, all girls. That her wishes for
me were what I got from my adopted parents. And I want to thank her for
giving me life.
