Not Just A Name
Written by: Laverne Reynolds (1999)

Don't let me be just a name -
A face you can't recall;
Someone that your not sure why
Is rarely at the Hall

Take a moment from your busy life
To consider those not able,
Whether due to health or age,
To make it to the table.

I know Jehovah loves us so -
He delivers our meals at home.
When the cannot make it from our house,
We attend the Hall by phone.

Sometimes the brothers mention us
In an announcement or in prayer
But please don't let this be the only time
You remember we're not there.

You see we're part of your family.
We need you to keep in touch,
To give us the chance so we can share,
The love we all need so much.

So give us a call, an email, a note,
Or even just drop in;
That we may incite to love and fine works
All who are our friends.
