All my Children!
All my Children!
I look for them and yet I see,
They hurt themselves and they hurt me.
Upon their face, bewilderment,
And yet toward trouble they are bent.
Pray listen child and not with pride,
For out of love I try to guide.
And yet your face is to the wall,
You'll listen not, you know it all.
Oh child of mine! Oh child of mine!
Have you not seen my love divine?
A father's love I have for you,
to ease the pain and trouble too.
Bewilderment, it need not be,
"The truth" it's said "will set you free."
The truth that's written as a guide
to help you find a place to hide.
Like little sparrows under wing,
A heart that's calm my love can bring.
