Pumpkin Cookies
1 cup butter 1 cup sugar 1 cup brown sugar 1 egg 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 cup pumpkin puree 1 cup rolled oats 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp salt 2 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 - Preheat oven to 350 F 2 - cream together butter and sugars 3 - beat in eggs, vanilla, and pumpkin 4 - in a seperate bowl sift remaining dry ingredients together (oats, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, raisons, flour) 5 - beat dry mix into pumpkin mix, slowly. 6 - drop mix by heaping tsp onto cookie sheet covered in parchment* paper ( * - if unavailable try wax paper) 7 - bake 12- 15 minutes, or until lightly borwned at the edges 8 - remove from cookie sheet and set on cool dry surface to cool. 9 - frost with powdered sugar or leave plain

Stuffed Celery(/cracker spread*)
1 8 oz pkg of cream cheese 2 tbsp sour cream 1/4 cup chopped walnuts 20 green olives, with pimento, chopped
celery
1 - mix ingredients in a bowl, adding one at a time 2 - chop celery 3 - spread mix into celery,
*if making a cracker spread skip step 2 and spread on crackers. |
