This is THE holiday for Witches, even cowans know that this is our time of year.

Nov 1 is All Hallows Day, October 31 is All Hallows Eve. Celebration begins on Oct 31 at sundown.

Samhain is not solely a Celtic based holiday. Ancient Egyptians and Mexicans celebrated this as the Night of the dead.

Samhain is pronounced "soween" if you follow the Celtic traditions. Sam - hane is also acceptable.

herbs - mugwort, allspice, broom, catnip, dealdly night shade, mandrake, oak, sage, rosemary and straw
