1 1/4 cup softened butter 1 1/3 cup white sugar 1 tbsp vanilla extract 1 egg, beaten 3 cups all purpose flour 1/2 tsp salt 1 tbsp baking soda 2 tbsp orange zest 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
preheat oven to 350 F
sift together flour, baking soda, salt and orange zest
in seperate bowl cream butter, sugar, vanilla and egg. Mix well after each addition
Add flour mix slowly, remember to scrape sides of the bowl as it is added.
When completely mixed add chips, mix
drop by rounded tsp onto cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until it starts to brown.
transfer to cooling rack.

1 pkg active dry yeast 1/4 cup lukewarm water 1 tbsp sugar 1 tsp salt 1 tbsp butter 1 cup boiling water 3 cups of all purpose flour* approx sauce toppings cheese
place yeast in med/large bowl, add water.
gently stir yeast until completely diluted.
let sit 10 minutes. While that's sitting place butter and boiling water in small bowl or cup. Wait till disolved
add sugar and salt to yeast
add (now cooled) water and butter to yeast mixture, stir
add flour, 1 cup at a time, till dough leaves sides of bowl.
knead well.
spread into pans (2 to 3 10" pans, depending on how thick you like your crust)
Let rise 15 minutes
add sauce, then toppings, then cheese
Bake 10 minutes at 250F, then bake at 450F till crust is as crisp/crunchy as you like |
