Would you like to learn
to play violin or viola?
My violin/viola teaching experience is
more than 20 years in Europe and in USA. My private
students range from beginning to college/university
levels. My student Maiani DeSilva is studying at
Boston Music Conservatory.
More than 30 students are currently
taking instrument lessons at my private studio. My
name is on the lists of violin/viola teachers at Santa
Monica-Malibu Unified School District, Los Angeles
Unified School District etc. I teach students of all
ages. Students from Santa Monica Elementary Schools,
Middle Schools, High School, SM Crossroads School,
Harvard-Westlake Middle and High Schools, Beverly
Hills High School, Culver City High School, Hamilton
High School Academy of Music, Los Angeles Center of
Enriched Studies, Pacific Palisade High School, Palms
Middle School, Sinai Akiba Academy, St.Jeronim School
and other schools attend my studio weekly.
During my lessons valuable elements of
various music schools: S.Suzuki, J.Kendall, L.Auer,
Y.Menuhin, A.Gricius, C.Orff, Z.Kodaly etc. Some of my
violin students have received violin scholarships in
violin major, others have passed exams of ABRSM with a
distinction, thirds have achieved concertmaster or
principal chairs at the school orchestras. Students
working with me for many years without competition
ambitions are as well important to me for their
dedication.
Homeschooling students are also
encouraged to take lessons with me (see
Studio B# Programs).
I graduated and postgraduated the Lithuanian
Music
Academy Department of Strings
Instruments. Teachers have included:
Prof. Saulius Sondeckis, Prof. Jurgis
Dvarionas,
Prof. Algis
Gricius. I am a
member of Suzuki Association of Americas (since 1993),
and American String Teachers Association (since 1992).
I continue my professional education annually at
Suzuki Institutes. Since 1994 I Studied Suzuki
pedagogy with Cathryn
Lee,
Jacqueline
Maurer,
Susan
Kempter,
Michelle
George,
John
Kendall,
Yuko
Honda at
Southern
California
Suzuki Institute.
My students range from begining to
college / university level: Partitas by J.S.Bach,
Caprices by N.Paganini represent sample of
compositions my student have been mastering under my
guidance.

1. I provide a computer
music accompaniment, which helps students to
advance more comfortably and more rapidly.

My private studio is located close to
the boundary of Santa Monica and West Los Angeles.
This is convenient location for students from Santa
Monica, Brentwood, Beverly Hills, Century City, Culver
City, West LA, Westwood, Mar Vista, Rancho Park,
Venice, Pacific Palisade and other areas.
Studio is located near
freeways #10 (Centinela Avenue or Bundy Drive
entries/exits) and #405 (National Bl entry/exit). This
is particularly convenient to traveling students from
neighboring communities.
