The time it takes a page to load is very important. Visitors won't stay if pages take too long to load. Look at the bottom of your FrontPage interface and you will see an approximate time in seconds that the page will take to load in a browser.
Keep an eye on this time when adding pictures and lots of text. If the time get to be too long, make a continuation page for you thoughts or reduce any pictures file size. If you have a lot of pictures to show, create thumbnails of them so visitors can click on only the ones they want to see in a full size preview.
