Hyperlinks are what the World Wide Web or WWW is made of. Hyperlinks come from the term "HTML" which stands for HyperText Markup Language. A hyperlink is simply a bit of text or a graphic or picture that has a link to another page on the WWW. When this link is clicked, you are automatically taken to that page.
