More About Us
Accountability Plan
The school is accountable to its families, the Minneapolis Public Schools' Board, and the Department of Children, Families, and Learning.  At the local level, we assess ourselves yearly and develop a School Improvement Plan to improve our teaching and learning skills.

Three tests are required each year.  The Northwest Achievement Test (NALT) is required by the Minneapolis district.  The state requires the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment (MCA) for grades 3 and 5.  We also use the Minnesota Basic Standards Test for grade 8.

Internally, we also measure growth in reading and mathematics by use of the STAR Math and STAR Reading programs results.

A fiscal audit is conducted annually and submitted to the Department of Children, Families, and Learning and to the board of the Minneapolis school district.
