| CRCS has adopted a standards-based curriculum, which stems directly from the primary, intermediate, and prepatory Minnesota graduation standards. A service learning component, in collaboration with Augsburg College, has a significant role in the curriculum. The kindergarten and early elementary grades teach some parts of the core knowledge curriculum. |

| Core Teaching Methods | |||||||||||||
| Classroom teachers instruct by a number of methods. Teacher-directed large group instruction, small group instruction, cooperative groups, and individual tutoring are most frequently used. Classrooms, and some subjects such as math and reading, may be multi-grade or aged. |
