  Dear Mr X,

I like many others have found your website extremely funny and well written. However, Crazy Legs mother is very upset with you. She asked me to identify who has being torture her son and wants to kick your ass. I only warn you about this because she is a very, very, very large and crazy woman. She has often been referred to as the poster child of Krispy Kreme donuts. So watch out MR X particulary around dinner time cause she is coming for you.

-Yours truly, Crazy Legs friend Andrew Buckley

  LATE BREAKING NEWS (Entertainment Tonight)

CRAZY LEGS COMING TO VANCOUVER (May 1st 2001)

Power, agility, flexibility, artistry ... add ice to the equation, and names such as Rob (Crazy Legs) Scott Hamilton and Kurt Browning come to mind. When 'Crazy Legs' conceived the idea of Stars on Ice 11 years ago, he could not have foretold the show's longevity or popularity.

True to its name, this year's tour features star performances by Kurt Browning, Brian Orser, Rob (Crazy Legs) Scott Hamilton, Alexei Yogudin, Bourne and Kraatz, Meno and Sands, Josee Chouinard and Steven Cousins. Crazy Legs, also co-producer of the show, has announced that this year's Stars on Ice will be his farewell Canadian tour. He leaves quite a legacy: Olympic gold in 1984, winner of 16 consecutive championships and U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame inductee, to name only a few honours. If that's not enough, Crazy Legs is also a testicular cancer survivor. After being diagnoses in March of 1997, he took a short hiatus for chemotherapy before returning to delight his fans.

On top of a star-powered show, you might have a chance to witness Crazy Legs perform his last trademark back flip on Canadian soil. He will always be the consummate entertainer.

Tickets Available from TicketMaster or from Rob's Mum at a discounted rate (say Crazy Legs sent you).

As Winston Churchill once said "Never in the field of human conflict has so much been owed by so many to Rob Scott". Imagine, the entire Human Race without Rob? His achievements are legion and legendary and include but are not limited to massive contributions to literature, art, science, political science, ending of world hunger, finding a cure for the common cold, being the first man to land on Mars, finding a solution to the "French problem", the assimilation of the US in to Canada, getting rid of all things involving Barnie the purple dinosaur and winning the Stanley Cup single handedly. I would willingly sell my house, my son, my dogs and my wife to medical science, to follow his crusade to righteousness, truth and the light.

What more can be said about Rob "Crazy Legs" Scott than the stories these pictures tell. He's a legend, and his touch of grace, class & pure elegance leaves it's mark wherever he goes. Whether it be the figure skating rink, the work environment, the baseball diamond, or the wacky drug-infested area of Pigeon Park in Gastown, those who have been lucky enough to even spend 5 minutes with Rob Scott have been blessed.

This being said, there is a down-side to spending time with such an idyllic figure. Personally, I am quite tired of Rob Scott stealing all the women. I've had it--we go to a bar & the women are flanking him, we go for lunch and the women are adoring him, we go anywhere and the women are just alllllll over Rob Scott. I can't deal with the neglect--who can? It's a love/hate relationship---I admire the guy, but deep-down, we all know he's the JR Ewing of the crowd. He's the guy everyone loves, but also loves to hate. He's the guy getting all the ladies. He's the guy we just can't compete with.

Rob, I tip my hat to you--in the immortal words of Sinead O'Connor, "Nothing Compares To You".

What can I thay; my name is Vladimir Strokemeov, I was Robby Crazylegs' first coach, and he wath my favorite studenth (thorry, I have a rare form of dyslexia and have to type the way I pronounth my words). Until I met Robby I had never theen a skater with such panache. Hith trademark in those days was to wear costumes 2 sizes too small (Yumm) in a cheap effort to win favor with the judges. Thith compounded the already frightful effects of the steroids on his genitalia. Robby thtruggled with thum heavy issues, especially hith botched circumcision in 1973, and hith choreographer Sergio and I took turns contholing him. In hith later years came the fame and people thaid he was a bit of an asshole, but I just told them "he wath a lot more than that".

Well what can I say about my little lamby. He was a little on the small side when he was born and our first choice for names was Millhouse, however, at the last minute we decided to change it to Robert. He was a typical little boy really - enjoyed styling his older sister's hair, loved ringette, favorite colour was fuchsia, and took inordinately long showers. We always hoped he would make something of himself and well... just as we taught him during his figure skating days, we never give up hope.

Crazy Legs gets me through the day. I have followed the career of Crazy Legs since he was five, and skating on the frozen puddle behind my kindergarten class in a powder blue snow suit and his sister's White Canadian Tire patent leather skates . I would really like to know where he is today so I could possibly attend one his next flamboyant performances. I heard he was cast as Neil, in Neil Diamond's Greatest Hits on Ice! I have a shrine of his glory-day photos at my desk at work. The dedication and passion on his face is what inspires me and keeps me focused throughout the day. Crazy Legs is truly a hero to us all.

Rob "Crazylegs" Scott is my hero. I'm going to have his crazy-legged children! Oh, he is ever so dreamy in his tight-assed skater pants. He glides across the ice with ease, and wows the crowd with his camel spin. Move over Elvis Stojko...make way for Robby Crazy Legs Scott!

Love from, Your Biggest Fan!
