• Right click on the desktop>Properties

• Click on setting from the tab button
• Click on the Advanced button
• click on the Adapter from the tab button
• Click on the change button
• Click on the Next button
• Click on Next button
• Give the driver location and click on next
• Now it will install the VGA itself and finally click on the finish button
• Now restart the computer

>Start your computer and hold down the F8 key
>Select the Command prompt only and press enter
Then appears
c:\>Format c:\s
>Wait for few minutes
>Then after the completion of 100% there comes a message and type the label name and press enter
>Then restart your computer Appears a drive C
Note: You should know the backup of the windows98 in your drive. Suppose your back is in d:\backup\win98>
C:\> D:
D:\>cd backup
D:\backup>cd win98
D:\backup\win98>setup
Note : If you simply type the setup then there will be scanning process. So to avoid the scanning D:\backup\win98>setup /is
>Select the directory where you want to install the window98
C:\windows
>Click on Next button
>Choose Typical or custom
>Click on Next button >Again click on next button>Next>Next
>choose your country and Next
>Click on cancel button on the Insert disk dialog box>next
>Wait for few minutes
>When the 100% completes The computer restart itself
>After restart computer there appears the user information.
>Type the user name and Company name>
>click on Next button
>Select I accept radio button and click on next
>Type the window98 CD-Key ie:HQ6K2-QPC42-3HWDM-BF4KJ-W4XWJ 
>Click on Finish button
>Now computer itself will configure the panels start menu and set all hardware configurations
>Again the computer restart itself
>Now Install all the VGA Card , Sound Card, Modem, Printer, NIC card etc
