Case Closed is the story of a 17 year old detective boy named Jimmy Kudo who becomes trapped in the body of a 7 year old after being given a experimental poison. He must use his all of his skills to help solve crimes and find the men who poisoned him so that he can regain his true form.

Case Closed is the Americanized version of the anime Detective Conan. They were forced to change the name before airing it in America due to copyright considerations. Apparantly someone thought it would be confused with Conan the Barbarian for some reason. Aside from the title, the major change to the series is that most of the main characters' names have changed.
Shinichi Kudo's name was changed to Jimmy Kudo. Jimmy's girlfriend's name, Ran Mouri, was changed to Rachel Moore. Her father's name, Kogoro Mouri, was changed to Richard Moore. Ayumi Yoshida's name became Amy, Genta Kojima's name became George, and Mitsuhiko Tsuburaya's name was changed to Mitch.
All of the Americanized names and titles will be used within, due to the fact that this is the version that I am viewing. Case Closed is copyrighted by Funimation Productions Ltd, this is merely a noncommercial fan site.
