Technology has changed everyone's life; from the simple and manual things to the complex but more convenient gadgets. It has affected the society in a number of ways mainly on the improvement and development of different things. Technology is almost always associated with all these positive words, but little as we know it, there are also negative things that we get from it.
With the many positive contributions of technology, it would be hard for us to name all of them. Let us just concentrate to those famous and common improvements that technology gave us. One thing that all of us know is the invention of computers.
It really is a big contribution to the public for it made students' life easier when it comes to their researches and projects. Same with the students, people that work in offices are also thankful for this invention because it made their job simpler as before. Another big contribution of technology is the invention of cell phones. We are all thankful for this great invention because it made our communication lines more intact. Everyone liked the fact that we could all be more connected with each other in a more convenient way. One great use of this gadget is texting, which really made communications cheaper. MP3s are also included with technology's contribution. From the very big radios with many tapes, we now have MP3s and MP4s which is really better and easier to use. Now, you don't have to carry big radios and many tapes around if you want to hear music. You just have to bring that small MP3 or MP4 with many songs stored in its memory. These things that I have mentioned are just very few things that technology gave us, but to sum it all up, technology has really made a big improvement to the advancement of our world.
On the other hand, technology also has its bad side. One obvious thing that was caused by technology is the laziness of people with their school works and other more things. The essence of researching has been changed which caused the books to be set aside. Technology is actually spoiling us because it gives us what we want in just a click. Also, a lot of technological processes produce and release chemical and gases that contribute to the problem of pollution in the world. It has also decreased the productivity of humans because all the machines that they need are all available and these machines substitute the work of the people leaving them with fewer jobs. These are just examples of the negative contribution of technology.
No matter what we say, technology will stay as a positive word for people. For all of the help that technology gave us, we will always be thankful for its contributions. Without those things, we will not have all of these conveniences which make our lives better from time to time.
