Rotary BBQ fundraiser a success!
The Sunrise Club joined forces with the Noon Club on July 11 to bring the Rotary Chicken BBQ back to the Cranberry Township Community Days celebration.
After a several-year hiatus, the Rotary made its return to benefit the Miracle League of Southwestern PA.
The Club originally purchased 750 meals for the Friday event and had 300 dinners on "standby" from Sysco in Harmony.

Celebrity Grillers were on hand all day to help with the return of Rotary Chicken BBQ .
Not only did they sell out of those dinners, the clubs had to go out to get another 200-plus meals and ended up selling out those additional meals just as the event concluded.
The money raised from the event benefits the Miracle Field construction project at Graham Park by Miracle League of Southwestern Pennsylvania.
The new field will provide opportunities for children with physical and mental disabilities to play organized baseball. Miracle Field is projected to be completed and ready for play by spring 2009.

The Rotary would like to thank everyone who came out to make this a successful event!
