Sunrise Club News
New members welcomed

July 17 marked the induction of two new members to the club, Mr. Kris Smith (Editor- Newspaper) from the Cranberry Eagle and Mrs. Jodie Welser (Accountant) from Coventry HealthCare.
We welcome both into our club and look forward to many years of fellowship and helping in the community.
Sam is working on new member orientation classes and Lynn has volunteered to be the New Member Orientation Chairperson.
Golf outing date set
Next year's Sunrise Club golf outing will be conducted Friday, May 15. Mike Peuler and David Pascarella will be Co-Chairman for the event.

Dinner's on them

The Noon Club will provide a dinner for our club on July 31st as agreed upon from the Casino night winnings.

Picnic time

Sunrise Rotary Caring Hearts:  Summer picnic with the Club, volunteers and families with adopted children from Mexico is scheduled for August 16th.  Details to be determined.

Noon Club golf outing

Cranberry Twp. Noon Club Golf Outing:  Monday, August 18th, the Noon Club will be holding their annual golf outing at Treesdale Country Club.  Since they have supported us in the past at our outing, lets see if we can get a foursome at theirs.  Those interested, please contact the Rich or Ron.
Changing of the Guard

On June 26, Erin Carll passed the Rotary gavel and bell (which still needs some mending) over to Rich Vozel for the upcoming new Rotary year.      Rich, along with various club members, recognized and thanked Erin for her dedication and hard work during her tenure, including take over the presidency earlier than expected and working on establishing a new meeting location.
We applaud and thank you again Erin.  As we move ahead, Rich has proposed a challenge, Dare to be Great!.  He is looking to continue to move our club forward, to motivate our club members, to break the staleness and work a bit harder, to get new members involved (first order of business, Mike Peuler was nominated and accepting to head up the golf committee for next years outing), and how to get more of the community involved and supporting the Rotary.
