HAIKU’s - 20 pieces

Perseverance

In his hands the cause

He came back filled with remorse

He finished the course

Human Justice

The finger pointed

They knew it was disjointed

With muck anointed

Of Principles and Morals (1 through 3)

Listen to the song

Strain to hear above the gong

The words are all wrong

Of Principles and Morals (2)

Knocking will persist

You continue to resist

And move from subsist

Of Principles and Morals (3)

Shooting in the dark

No light not even a spark

Will not hit the mark

The Optimist

When dark is the night

Don’t complain be filled with fright

Make the candle light

Goal Setting

A trip undertake

Before the first step you take

Objective must make

Temptation

Life was not too good

And I wondered if I should

But my conscience stood

Pressure

I'm in no hurry

But you don't have to worry

We will still marry

The Activist

He was caught at night

He could not put up a fight

They found him first light

The Thing

It goes up and down

It's movements are very smooth

It is sheer beauty

Disappointed Student

She sat with her books

For weeks burnt the midnight oil

She failed after toil

Son of Man

He came to this earth

He was of heavenly birth

Was treated like dirt

Group Areas

They wanted to stay

But they were driven away

It just does not pay

The Woods at Sunrise

It was a shadow

And was not hers, I do know

It was time to go

The Sound of Sunrise

Hear the bird singing

Angel happiness bringing

Hear the bell is ring

Soft Autumn

The sunset, no sound

Not a soul, but me around

The autumn trees bare

Animal Kingdom

Mountain animal

Free, peaceful and surviving

Man has not been there

Animal Water Wonderland

Duck feet on water

Winged propulsion energy

To soar in the air

Passion Fruit

Caught up in passions

Wanting people and fashions

Seeking compassion
