When you think you are done with your project think of what else you could do to it to make it even better.
Look through this list; it should help you make sure that it's going to look the best it possibly could:

Does it have color?

You can color wood sticks with markers, colored pencils, crayons, acyrilic
paint; pretty much everything you can think of that colors on paper as long as it's non-toxic.

Are the edges all smooth?

You can use sandpaper for all the edges that are sharp and pointed. You can also clip them with a scissor if they are in a reachable area.

Is it sturdy?

If you don't think your project can outlast what it is being used for,  you don't have you tear the whole thing apart. If you can, take it apart piece by piece, or just take off the part that is wobbly and remake or support it.
