| The proposed KRKO radio towers are planned for an established area used by watefowl, song birds, raptors and endangered species. The imporatnce of this habitat for these birds has caused great concern among wildlife conservation groups. The towers will harm birds as they migrate through the area and as they take off and land at the adjacent regional parks and agricultural foraging grounds. |
