Tournament Four Headlines: YOUNGEST PLAYER, MASON SHORT, WINS 3-HOLE TOURNAMENT by Chrissy Gonzalez, CPJGP Staff Writer Patuxent River, MD - In the fourth CPJGP tournament, Mason Short, the youngest player in the field, turned heads as he scored a clean 27 to win the three hole tournament. Catherine Gonzalez was right on Short's tail until the last the last hole where she lost the tournament to Mason. Catherine finished second with a satisfying 29. Rebecca Whitley scored a 32 to finish to take third place. She is still looking for a victory this season, maybe this Saturday. In the 6-hole division, Maclain Chistie played a great round, staying strong till the end, and firing his best score of the season, 47. Alex Silvernagel who had some difficulties with his putting came just short of Christie by two strokes. Robert Valenzuela also ran out of time to catch Christie, but shot a satisfying round of 49.
