Last Saturday, our juniors completed the first CPJGP practice round at the Cedar Point Golf Course. We has a tremendous turnout of 26 Junior golfers. Judging from the smiles on the faces and the handshakes all around, I believe we all had a great time. I would like to thank Butch Butler and his staff for a well run tournament, the parents who assisted our players, and all us "Fluff" Cowan's that carried the bags.
Attached below are the complete tournament results. Our three age groups, 8-9, 10-12 and 13-15 had first, second and third places rewarded with $20,$13 and $7 gift certificates to the Cedar Point Golf Course Pro Shop. The winners in the 8-9 age group were: 1st-Rebecca Whitley, 2nd-Andrew Wascavage, 3rd-Catherine Gonzales. The winners in the 10-12 age group were: 1st-Tim Woodard, 2nd-Joseph Wascavage, 3rd- Ryan Nedresky. The winners in the 13-15 age group were: 1st-Chrissy Gonzales, 2nd-Michael Tilton, 3rd-Brent Silvernagel.
