New Year Blitz - Five
minutes each.
Christmas Handicap Blitz -
Stronger players have less time.
Rapidplay - Six games over two
weeks in September, with 30 mins per player.
Lightning Tournament (September)
- Every 10 seconds a buzzer sounds and you have
to play your move.
Club Championship (May to
August) - A six round tournament with each game over 1 or 2 weeks which
determines the Club Champion and the Palace Cup Winner (under 130).
Occasional Other Competitions
are arranged on an informal basis.
