Step 1) Cut out your pattern (just click on the image to go to pattern and just print out the page.) Next fill the strainer with potpouri, then glue your round piece of pink felt all the way round the back of the strainer (to keep the potpouri from falling out.)
Step 2) Begin sewing the nose on a head piece using the pink thread, (make sure to add a little batting before you have sewn it completely around. Using the black thread stitch a single line mouth, and two lines on the nose for the snout, before you begin to sew the head pieces together.
Step 3) Continue sewing each piece together. Remember to stuff each piece before you have sewn it completely. Once you have all your pieces sewn together, Glue the head onto the handle of your strainer, Then the arms and legs of your pig onto the strainer body.
Step 4) Using a basting stitch with your white thread sew along the edge of the round white material you have cut out, once you have sewn the circumference place it over the right ear of your pig and pull the ends of the thread to gather the material tightly round it, then tie in the back. Now take your small strip of white material and wrap it around the same ear to hide your thread and glue in place.
Step 5) Glue the eyes, heart, and black hooves onto the pig. Lastly glue the small soup can onto the pig's hand (any kind of kitchen utensil, soda can, etc.. will do)
