About The Class...
The class is called, News Writing and Reporting. It's a writing class, not a production class. The website is merely icing on the cake- mostly to display the writers� abilities in a sort of online resume. Some of the students in this class wish to later go on to a career in Journalism, while others have different dreams in mind. Either way, it�s always great to have your accomplishments recorded.
Copper Mountain Community College is where we call home, and the class takes place on Saturday mornings. It hasn�t been offered on a yearly basis in the past, but hopefully that will change.
All the pieces here are by students and for students. The writers come from a variety of backgrounds and ideas, which makes for a great environment in the newsroom. If you�re interested in taking the class yourself contact your counselor for the next scheduled run.
