| How to be lazy in track | ||||||||||
| It is no secret that training for track doesn't make you faster. In fact it can be counter productive when used in excess. But now, new studies conducted by some of the members of the DHS cross country team have lead to the beleif that not running doesn't slow you down and in many cases even causes you to speed up. In our cross country team there are many slackers, and unfortunatly a couple RUNNING NAZIS and even a running nazi ring leader we like to call HITLER. The rebel slacker force is made up of 5 people. (There are more than 5 people who are lazy on our team but only 5 are a part of the rebel slacker force) And 5 of those 5 continue to drop time even though they don't run. Coincidence? Maybe, but that is even harder to beleive when 3 of the 3 people who like running added time to their races and were injured at least once during the season due to their excess of running. Not any one can be a good slacker. Slacking takes intelligence, superior timing, a good knowledge of where you are, where other runners are, where the coaches are, were the shortest route is, and a desire to do little as possible. |

The rebel slacker force is a squad of lazy runners who have found a loop hole in running. The goal of running is to beat your best time.....but once you beat it you have only set a new best time which you must try and beat. You may beat your time over and over again but eventually there will be a time which you can never beat because you become too old or injured which leads you plummeting over the metaphysical abyss into a Dostoevskian maelstrom of churning anguish. Luckily the rebel slacker force has organized a flawless plan to combat this evil and all prevailing dark force called 'running.'
