A message from the webmaster: When Covington Cross first aired in 1992, I was in seventh grade. It ran for six episodes in the U.S., before it was promptly yanked from the air to make room for Ross Perot's campaign propaganda hour. At that particular time in history, the internet was a buzzword. To the average American it seemed about as far off as flying cars. That's why I'm so amazed that now, ten years later, fans of Covington Cross, a show that was merely an ink splotch on the fall line-up, are coming out of the woodwork in droves to share their memories online. Their rallying cry? "I thought I was the only one who remembered that show!" It was with that same spirit of "I thought I was the only one who remembered that show!" that I created this webpage, nearly four years ago. What started out as a simple AOL member page visited by about three people regularly has now morphed into something much larger. I couldn't be more pleased. Every fan who visits this page, contributes fanfiction, discusses episodes on the mailing list, no matter how small the scale of their involvement, is keeping Covington Cross alive. Though we are not the largest fan base on the net, we are certainly the most devoted. To everyone who holds a special place in their heart for the Grey family, I hope this site lives up to your expectations. Your devoted servant in all things Covington, Jennifer Armintrout. |
