| It's quiet, here. It's peaceful. Not quite silent, like the hush between breaths, between the sighs of the wind. For there are always ... the whispers. The dead do whisper. They are too full of Knowing to stay silent. They pass on that Knowing. And sometimes, the Knowing makes them rise again. |

| Walk carefully amidst the shadowed ice, and you may hear the tales of those who thought they saw the shine of the Light ... and instead felt the stab of the Dark through to the centre of their souls. Listen, and you can hear their song. They thirst for vengeance. They make their plans to return from out of the ice of death. |
| The prince slept here, once. When it suited Mannoc that he should. But the prince awoke from out of the chains of terror. And started his own, long walk out of the ice of Nokhror. Following another who walked alone from out of her own grave. |

| Once you know you are within the bounds of Nokhror, you will want to leave. It is then that you realise ... there can be no place of rest upon the Fields of Time. Nokhror is but a pause between the breath of the stars. |
