In 1993, Paramount Pictures released the follow up to The Addams Family entitled Addams Family Values. Director Jon Sonenfeld had concerns over making the sequel due to the complications that had arisen during the filming of the first movie. However, with Paul Rudnick (uncredited rewriter on the first movie) writing a strong screenplay with a srtong emphasis on the kids themselves, as well as more money changed Sonenfelds mind. Most of the original crew returned, with the exception of Judith Malina who played Grandmama in the original movie. She was replaced with Carole Kane of "Taxi" fame. Although Addams Family Values brought in more total money, (48 million in the U.S.) it actually made less due to the budget. It did make up enough to consider a third installment. The death of Raul Julia from comlications due to a stroke, the third installment was never produced.
A few new cast members were introduced:
Pubert who is the third child of Morticia and Gomez is played by Kaitiyn and Kristen Hooper
Cousin Itt has married Margaret Alford and they have also had a child named "What".

Morticia gives birth to a bouncing new baby... Addams. Pubert is the spitting image of Gomez. Right down to the moustache. Pugsley and Wednesday become jealous and concieve different ways to rid themselves of this new addition who takes most of the attention from them. Gomez and Morticia decide that they need some help to deal with this new development. They hire Debbie Jellinski as the childrens new nanny. Debbie fits into the family very well. So well in fact that Fester is smitten with her. Debbie notices Festers' attempt at flirting and decides he is welathy..err..worthy enough to marry. What the Family doesn't know however is that Debbie is a psychotic killer known as "The Black Widow". She marries rich men and then kills them for their money and the insurance. Wednesday becomes suspicious. Debbie, noticing Wednesdays intrest in her growing relationship wiht her uncle, talks Morticia and Gomez into sending the children to summer Camp.
Camp Chipewa is a nightmare for Pugsley and Wednesday. They are terrorized by the counselors and the "priveledged" children led by Amanda Buckman (Mercedes McNab). Wednesday finds a young courtier in Joel Glecker(David Kruniholtz). As a misfit, she is forced by the counselors to try and become "normal". Even to the point where she is forced to watch "Bambi" and other cute movies until she seemingly breaks. The children win the battle in the end. Fooling the counselors into thinking they changed her, Wednesday is picked to play Pocahantis in the end of summer play. She turns the other misfit children into indians and raze the camp to the ground.

Meanwhile, Fester and Debbie are married in the cemetary. The ceremony is officiated by "Pastor" Itt. Even as the wedding is taking place Debbie is planning Fester's death.
While on their honeymoon in Hawaii, Debbie tries numerous ways to murder Fester. Fester, with amazing luck is able to escape each and every time. Debbie is frustrated. Deciding that she might have a harder time than she thought, they return home. She makes Fester wear a wig and change into stylish Italian suits. She forbids him to see the other Family members.

As Debbie plans to kill Fester by blowing up their house, Thing comes to the rescue in the family car. Fester escapes again. Debbie has had enough. "I'll get you..and your' little hand too." She chases them back to the mansion and traps the entire family in their own electric chairs. Just as she pulls the switch however, Pubert escapes and reverses the current in the chairs, killing Debbie instead.
