I'm a 48 year old nontraditional student, and I have filled my life with simple pleasures which include my three children and grandchildren. My daughter, Amanda, is my roommate and my best friend. She is also a student at NSU and she persuaded me to go back to school to do something for myself. I am pursuing an associate degree in general studies which will help me get a better position where I currently work. I am presently employed by my parish at our health unit. I enjoy seeing children receive proper care, immunization and screenings to ensure a healthy future. I especially appreciate the nutrition information that our workers get across to parents of high risk infants and toddlers.
My hobbies and interest include gardening and surfing the internet, raising flowers, sewing and listening to music. Home, to me, is where things grow in the sunshine, and you can drink coffee on the porch. I enjoy fishing with my club, the Bounty Hunters Bass Club, and going out to eat with friends, especially Chinese food.
