FIRE EXTINGUISHER FLUID: 
  caused liver and kidney damage in animals, but not in humans
BENZENE and ASBESTOS:
  passed as safe in tests on animals, both are killers in humans
EMULSIFIER (found in polish and hair solution:
  "A severe irritant in the rabbit`s eye, a moderate irritant on the
  rabbit`s skin, and a mild irritant on human skin"
INSECTICIDE:
  according to tests on rats, it took 12,000mg per Kg body weight
  to kill half of the animals on test = to 840mgs (almost 2lbs) in a
  human
SUGAR:
  according to tests on rats, it would take 2.5Kg (over 5lbs), in one
  dose, to kill a person
CORRECTING FLUID/THINNERS:
  according to tests on rats, it took 14,300mg per Kg body weight
  to kill half of the animals on test = to over 1Kg (2.2lbs) in a human
FLAVOUR ENHANCER:
  tested in animals at such high doses = to 1,200Kg - enough to
  flavour 6 tons of food.
PHOTOCOPIER TONER:
  Force-fed to rats, there is "no evidence of acute oral toxicity".
  The amount given to rats = to 350gms (12oz) in humans

ALCOHOL:
  a human-sized rat could consume twelve bottles of scotch a day,
  with no more liver damage than that caused by half a bottle to
  the human liver.

  "An alcohol level that could be disposed of in a person in around
  4-6 hours would take 8-12 in a horse, 2-3 in a dog, and half-1 hour
   in a mouse"
