Rules and Answers
Yes, there’s rules, just to make this a fun experience for all. Your questions like, “How the heck to I submit?” and “What the heck is this anyway?” will be answered here, too.
This is a lame attempt at an on-line interactive story where you play a character (that may or may not be yourself) and the story flows from there. It’s like Neopets. Okay, so it’s not really like Neopets. You don’t have your own account, you can’t customize your own cuddly pets, and the only e-mail interaction that gets put directly on this site goes through me.
So, okay, you get it’s a story thing. What’s the story about? Anything. It starts in a parallel world, just to make things a little easier for me. It’s a fantasy/sci-fi world called Losli (it’s the initials of the webpage’s name, I really couldn’t think of anything else to call it) and anything can happen there. There needs to be some sort of conflict, and whatever happens is thought from the people playing. Everything you want to write must be sent to me, so I can not post something sent to me if I find it inappropriate.
Here are a few guidelines: 1) Your character does not have to be human, but it does have to be original. Easy enough to understand, right? You can be an elf, but you can’t be Legolas. Sorry. 2) Your character must be in good taste. This does not mean you can’t have an evil character. This means your character has to be rated PG-13 or under, so don’t make yourself some ratty ho just trying to get laid. 3) Do not write for someone else’s character unless they allow you to or it’s a very brief scene. When writing, you will have to have interactions with other characters, but please don’t guess what their actions will be. Many people have AIM, so the conversations can be played out on Instant Messenger. 4) Please send me information about your character. Include name, age, species, occupation, a little bit of personality traits and skills. Also include your e-mail address and (if you want) AIM screen name. If you want, you can also send a picture of the character you are playing. (Original drawings only.) Species are explained. Click on button marked “species.” Easy, huh? 5) The story needs to be in good taste. No sex, please. 6) You can make up minor characters for the sake of the story. Meaning that if there is really nothing going on, and you’re just bored, and you can add characters, which are not necessarily your mean character. 7) Have fun, and remember that I can refuse to post something of yours.
