Welcome to Cotton City Tailors.  At Cotton City we specialize in the reproduction of Confederate Depot jackets and trousers for the discriminating reenactor and living historian.  We have examined or viewed all of the uniforms we reproduce.  We either use patterns of our own design or purchased patterns that we have modified to reflect our research and observations.

In an effort to keep our products affordable, all hidden seams are machine sewn, but ALL facings and lining are applied by hand, as are all buttonholes and topstitching.  We use fabrics from the highest quality suppliers such as Ben Tart and Family Heirloom Weavers.  The fabrics we select for our uniforms are what we believe to be the best available match to the originals.  New garments may be added to our line as new research becomes available and as the weavers of replica fabrics continue to provide new and increasingly accurate products.

In all cases, we strive to produce the most accurate garments possible.
