| Corunna Volunteer Fire Department has existed for probably as long as the town itself has, but it didn't become organization until 1953. With the efforts of many dedicated people through the years, it has become what it is today...a professional, well maintained department that Corunna can be proud of. |

| New Fire Station built in 2006 with grants from the State, fund raisers, donations and from the firefighters themselves. Many of fire fighters personally gave their own time and money to complete this building. No one can say this department isn't hard working. |
