| For training purposes, a fire was ignited in a garbage can by the Corunna and Waterloo Fire Departments in an old abandoned house located in Waterloo on April 9th, 2007. Newer firefighters were able to learn proper use of gas masks and other apparatus. This type of training is invaluable. It was a very cold day. But as the photos show, there was no chance this fire was getting out of control. |
