There are a few things Corunna is famous for and one of these are the Corunna Volunteer Fire Department Fish Fries held from October to June every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month.

Right now they are being held at the old station located at the Town Hall on North Bridge Street. The building was once the original Albright's Grocery Store until the new store was built in 1969. The Albright family donated the building to the town.The department is hoping to erect a small building behind the new station to house frying of the fish in the near future.
