Aug 30th. We didn't have much of a turnout this evening, i blame the rain we we going to play in. We didn't have enough for Ultimate, but we had a blast playing a game of Boxes (not sure what the game is called). There were 5 of us. We set up 2 10x10 boxes using cones and 2 teammates in each box. Object: to throw each sides disc into the other teams' box quickly enough so that the opposition will have 2 discs in their box. Anyway we had fun with that. Just before the lack of sun sent us home, we played some long distance catch in the pouring rain. That is something none of us get a chance to do enough.
SATURDAY Aug 27th. I didn't make it but people tell me of the great time they had playing 5 on 5!
August 25th. Another great night of Ultimate. We played 5 on 5 with one sub. This was a farwell game to our most regular player and one of the most fun ones: Travis. He's returning back to Buffalo for his higher education. Good luck to you buddy!
August 23rd. (Sorry, i missed a few updates here! oops!) Tonight, we had a wonderful game of 6's! Our best turnout yet! We all had a good time. A few new faces still appearing from time to time as well as the return of an old regular, John Adaniel! It was a lot of fun and we just kept playing and playing and playing. It seemed like the perfect weather, beautiful sky above and noone really wanted it to end!
July 31st, 2005 (SUNDAY!) Well we tried to get a spontaneous pick-up game going today, but we didn't have enough, so we played ghetto frisbee golf (pick the hole and set the par and go from there with our regular discs). We had fun. We talked about how were going to get more peeps to our tues and thurs sessions. I'll put a few flyers up in the local taverns. Sharlene will put some up at CCC and Sam will take care of West high this fall. See you on Tuesday!!
July 26th, 2005: Travis' update: "Well we had 5 on 5 today behind East at 6 and played til about 7:30 due to lightning, however that is the best showing of people we've had all summer. Perhaps we'll throw up the photos that have been taken this summer and hopefully I'll see most of you within the next few weeks.
July 12th, 2005: What a hot and sunny time for ultimate! About half way through, the sun hid behind a cloud and made a huge difference. We had 3 on 3 with one sub. It was fun BUT it'd be nice if we could get more peeps! See who you can bring next time!
July 5th, 2005: Very rainy and wet. I showed up and another showed but others didn't. So we played catch for about 40 minutes and left. I found out later that a bunch of "i don't like rain" people showed up about 7:30 after the rain stopped and played. wusses.

This heatwave sucks. But show Mother what a tough Muther you are and come out and play anyway.
