    LADYBUGS FOR LORETTA is a beautifully illustrated and cleverly written story for children. Francie Mion has illustrated the fun tale with charming pictures that truly enhance the story written by Lois Wickstrom. You and your children will thoroughly enjoy reading LADYBUGS FOR LORETTA repeatedly. It's a true treasure for anyone who is enthusiastic about ladybugs. I, myself, love ladybugs and I find this story a wonderful way to teach your children about ladybugs and their surroundings.
    My children were simply amazed by the storyline and have found a new love for ladybugs. LADYBUGS FOR LORETTA is appropriate for children age six and up, but I must say that my two year old and three year old loved listening to the part of finding the ladybugs hibernating in the warm dirt under rocks during the winter. In addition, they wanted me to rush out to find some ladybugs just so we could put them in our refrigerator just like Loretta did.
    Your children will learn a lot about ladybugs with this lovely story and you're bound to learn something new about ladybugs as well. Ms. Wickstrom has captured the true essence and purity of ladybugs as well as the innocence of children through this delightful story.
    LADYBUGS FOR LORETTA by Lois Wickstrom and illustrated by Francie Mion was first published as a paperback story for children in 1978, but the company has since gone out of business and the two collaborated to make this story available to children as an electronic book.
