LA TOUR EIFFEL
BACK
These fantastic pictures were taken by Liam! (At least not the ones with him in them!) I was well impressed when I saw them. I've been to the Eiffel tower twice, but not with Liam and certainly not in the weather we had, but I will let Liam write on that...
Our last dinner in Paris before the end of the trip... we decided to 'live it up' in a Parisien cafe. Dinner was scrumptious! French cuisine, even in a cafe, is wonderful!
LIAM: The view was magnificent and the height breath-taking. Halfway through, the weather turned nasty and it started sleeting down... Gave Corinne my hooded jumper which I'd stashed in my bag because she was freezing. Thanks to Dublin training, I didn't find it too bad except on the fingers (no gloves)... This had to be the most memorable Eiffel tower trip. An ice-storm at 1000ft in the air, on an open toothpick structure, now how do you top that?
