| Remember the fall photos from the pond in Jacksonburg? Well, this is the creek leading up to is. The Blizzard of '96 was a storm the likes of which I hadn't seen since I was a kid...3 feet of snow and my own son actually SWIMMING in the stuff. Anyway, you can just imagine the stream levels once it melted. This one swelled up, crested and then subsided fairly quickly, leaving some of the most beautiful icicles I'd ever seen. |
| All I could think of were baubles from a chandelier as I shot one photo after another. I knew I'd never see anything like this again. I wanted to get some close-up shots, so I zoomed in close for some of them... |
